HARDWARE: NCTC negotiates master agreements with hardware vendors on behalf of participating member companies, and coordinates payment for hardware between vendors and members. NCTC does not take title to products and does not warehouse or ship any products. Members order and pay through NCTC; the supplier or manufacturer drop ships the order to members.
Members benefit from an opportunity to save through volume pricing. In addition, the broad array of available hardware allows members to order and purchase most hardware components (and associated software and firmware) necessary to build and maintain video, data and phone distribution plant. Members and vendors benefit from the efficiencies and savings of consolidated ordering and payment through NCTC.
